As Founder and Clinical Director of Champion Counseling, Yvonne is known for creating a thoughtful, direct, and compassionate space where people can explore challenges with honesty, deepen self-understanding, and build stronger, more connected relationships.

Yvonne's influence extends beyond the therapy room. Throughout her career, she has partnered with healthcare systems, nonprofit organizations, legal professionals, and Fortune 500 companies to address conflict, trauma, burnout, and organizational stress. Her consulting work includes crisis response, critical incident stress debriefing, leadership development, team communication, and workplace resilience.

Her current collaborations include Methodist Hospital’s Urology Department - Intimacy & Wellness Program, and I’ll Have What She’s Having – Mental Health Programs. Other areas of collaboration include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, HIV/AIDS service organizations, healthcare providers, and corporate leadership teams throughout Texas.

Yvonne currently serves as Past-President of the Houston Psychoanalytic Society and is a Past-President of Houston Area Association for Imago Relationship Therapists. She is a Certified Group Psychotherapist and maintains active involvement in professional organizations dedicated to advancing excellence in psychotherapy groups.
