Dani DeFreitas
Dani spent years in the food and beverage industry before becoming a therapist, so she understands the particular exhaustion of being “on” for everyone else. She helps individuals, couples, and groups set that performance down and explore what’s underneath it.

ABOUT DANI
Dani DeFreitas knows what it costs to hold it together for everyone else. Before earning her Master of Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, she spent years in the food and beverage industry, a world of long hours, constant social engagement, and little room to ask how you are actually doing. That lived experience shapes her work: she understands the weight of always being on, and she helps clients discover who they are when they finally get to set it down.
A person-centered therapist, Dani works with individuals, couples, and groups, offering open, honest conversation that builds self-awareness, insight, and connection. Sessions are collaborative by design: you bring your experience and your existing strengths, she brings clinical perspective, and together you clarify what you want and what is standing in the way.
Whether you are new to therapy or returning to the process, Dani meets you where you are and helps you grow into the person you want to become.
